We are currently taking applications for our 2014 Secondary School Work Experience Program based in our office in Melbourne, Australia. This program provides an opportunity for 8 lucky students to join the Lonely Planet family for a week in 2014, allowing them to work alongside our amazing people and get amongst our content & images.
But, be warned… This week doesn’t come without its challenges, so don’t expect to be just shredding papers and filing – this is no ordinary work experience program! Be prepared to have your brain stretched, allow your imagination to flourish and explore opportunities never thought possible.
To be eligible for the program you must be an Australian secondary school student, currently studying year 10 or 11. Applications from international or tertiary students cannot be accepted – please check out our Work For Us page to see general employment opportunities.
We have two intakes in 2014:
23rd – 27th June
15th – 19th September
The hours are 9.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday and will be based at our Footscray office.
