Ad Operations Analyst - Contract Position (3-4 mos)

The Ad Operations Analyst is a highly collaborative role within the Client Solutions team and works to support the sales, account management, product dev and production teams to achieve global targets and objectives. The Analyst will be commercially­ minded with a willingness to push boundaries in order to drive revenue for the business.


Responsibilities: ­

  • Work directly with Ad Ops, Pricing & Inventory and Account Managers to execute creative trafficking, including implementation, testing, deployment, delivery, and optimization of ad campaigns within ad servers and production systems.
  • Work closely with sales planners to assist in account support for ad campaigns, with both pre­sales and post­sales data requests including mid campaign and end of campaign reporting.
  • Coordinating with Ad Ops and finance departments for monthly billing and accruals.
  • Provide technical support for operations and dev teams to help troubleshoot problem creatives.
  • Assist with QA for all campaigns that go live, including preparation of screenshot decks.
  • Ensure proper delivery of campaigns by maintaining and distributing pacing/performance reports.
  • Develop optimization strategies on a campaign­ by ­campaign basis to maximize both yield and advertiser performance.
  • Coordinate with various departments to help with Ad Ops related tasks and projects on an ongoing basis.
  • Setup and test all direct sold email marketing campaigns.


Requirements: ­

  • 1-­2 years experience working in digital advertising operations or related field
  • Familiarity with third party ad servers and presales tools, such as DFP, Atlas, OpenX, DSM, Operative etc. (we use DFP Premium, Nativo, LiveIntent, Brightcove, YesMail & Operative, so those platforms are preferred) ­
  • Basic familiarity with general web technologies used by ad codes (HTML, Javascript, Flash, etc.) as well as digital analytics products (Google Analytics, Omniture, Comscore) or a strong willingness to learn them ­
  • MS Excel skills, and knowledge of other MS Office products (Word, Powerpoint) ­
  • Extremely detail ­oriented and dependable ­
  • Strong analytics, problem solving, and decision­ making skills ­
  • Positive attitude, and a genuine interest in working in a start­up environment with coworkers and clients across the globe
